Theater Etiquette
- Please turn off or silence all cell phones. No texting during the movie.
- If you are over 5'9 please sit in the back two rows.
- Please keep your feet off the seats.
- Anyone under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend R rated movies.
- Please throw away your trash on the way out.
- Recording of any movie is against the law. Violators will be asked to leave.

Our History
When I purchased the former Cinemaplex in 1991, I wanted to make it a place where everyone would leave happy.
After 10 great years serving the Crawfordsville community, I finally figured out the one improvement that would guarantee an optimal viewing experience for all moviegoers. In April of 2001, together with my son and the fine folks over at Sugar Creek Builders, we ripped out 126 subpar seats from each of our 3 screening rooms, leaving only the best 18 spots behind.
I don’t think anyone should be punished for arriving just before previews or buying tickets at the last minute. People come to the movies to see great films on the big screen, so why should anyone have to experience that joy from an angle? No more walkway down the middle of the room, no more tilted heads or squinting eyes because every seat in the house is now the best one.
To make up for fewer seats, we added more showtimes and proudly changed our name to Centerview Cinemas, because here at Centerview, you’ll always get a center view!
